This bride found me through a referral from one of my previous bridal clients.

For her wedding day, she requested two different looks to match the changing atmosphere of the celebration — a warm family gathering during the daytime and a romantic evening wedding.


The venue was THE RIVERHOUSE, a historic building located in the heart of Clarke Quay.
My goal was to highlight the beauty of both her cheongsam and her Chinese-inspired evening gown, carefully designing each hair and makeup look to complement the outfits and the mood of the day.

Venue | THE RIVERHOUSE (Singapore)

Located in the heart of Clarke Quay, THE RIVERHOUSE is a historic Chinese-style mansion with more than 150 years of history.

Built in the 1870s, it is one of the few remaining examples of traditional Chinese architecture in the area. Over the years, the building has played various roles in Singapore’s local history.

Today, it has been transformed into a unique dining and entertainment space that blends Chinese heritage with modern design.

The elegant interior combines traditional elements with contemporary style, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that beautifully complemented the bride’s cheongsam and added a timeless charm to the wedding celebration.
